first post of the year

So, finally, a new post. Since I have the privilege to write 6 exams next week, I'll just keep it short. Been hearing Camera Obscura's new album right now. It's brilliant, especially for those of you who enjoy Belle & Sebastian. Despite my new found fondness of hip-hop, I still have a soft spot for some good old fashioned indie pop. Velvet Underground has also made a comeback. Been playing their songs on guitar for the last 2 weeks. And Mo Tucker is a great drummer. Ain't half bad at singing either. My fantasy girlband would have to be Mo Tucker on drums, Tina Weymouth on bass, and Chan Marshall as vocalist slash guitarist. Rock on!
